It has been said Ebony is an angel sent to us by God to help with healing from the tragic death of Rebecca's Mother.  We believe this to be true. 

With that said, we are most certainly angels God sent to Ivory.  In March 2010, we sensed Ebony needed a canine companion & made the decision to

adopt a 2nd Yorkie Pom puppy.  Ivory captured our hearts & we brought her home mid April 2010.  Later in the week Ivory had her first Vet visit. 

It was devastating.  Ivory was born with two very large life threatening ingunal hernias. 

Our Vet made it perfectly clear:

Ivory's life was in danger & she had just two options: 1) find a FURever family willing to spend more than hundreds of dollars for life saving surgery or

2) be put down. 

Our Vet is wonderfully skilled, caring & compassionate, she gave us information, then sent us home to make a decision. 

Though Ivory had been a member of our family for only a few days, we were heads over heels in puppy love with her.   What was best for Ivory?
